Dear ARIS community,

I am wondering about the different use cases for the link types. Like: for which use case do you use document storage Link 1, Image Link 1, Link 1... and what are their implications for Connect?

Thanks for your support :)

Best,

Veronika

Hi,

We use the Link 1 attribute to allow users to access documents from our centralised Business Management System library - for example: policy documents, which support tasks, can be accessed and viewed by users by clicking on the URL contained within the Link 1 attribute in the policy object.

Hello Veronika,

if I remember correctly from the SAG presentation at Aris User Day DACH in SB
Link1-4 + Title1-4 are generically for hyperlinks and their labels.

The other "media type" link attributes have a special meaning for the Connect UI as they can be used to display preview thumbnails of the corresponding target media files: image, video etc.

Regards, Martin
