I just realized that people who have been using ARIS for years are not aware of the great "optional separator" functionality. So, when you have the necessity to split a word in the name attribute of an object and you realize that it is too long, I would use the optional separator. The beauty of this separator is that it is not printed when you create an Excel/Word/... output and it is only displayed when needed.
In my example you can see three examples - when no separator is applied, you might run into issues concerning space; if you use a hard coded separator (-) this is printed and if applied in the wrong place, it is visible in the name of the object. When an optional separator (Connect: ALT + -; Architect: Ctrl + -) is used, it is only displayed when needed.
