I have experienced some problems with the latest release of the publisher. It has some nice features, but some of the features I liked in the past seem to be disabled.
Like links to external documents, for example. I am publishing with a profile which includes the System attribute "Link 1". I have specified that I don't want the publisher to create a copy of the linked documents or temporary file names. This has worked for me fine untill the latest release.
Now when I select an object of type document I cannot see the link attribute in the right column. I can only click on the icon next to the object to open the link. This I don't like.
Even the icon of the document has a problem. If the document is from MS Office 2007 (.docx, xlsx etc.) the icon does not appear in the publication.
Does anybody know a solution for these problems? Maybe a workaround?

I'm dealing with the same problem as you described in your question. Icon of the documents doesn't appear in the publisher export. Have you solved the problem? Or have you found any workaround?
