Visio to ARIS import, object mapping issue

Hi All,

I am importing the Visio model created in MS Visio 2010, which has swimlane shapes in the model, and mapping that to EPC model in ARIS.

We want the swimlane shapes from Visio model to be mapped to organizational objects in EPC, but in mapping configuration the swimlane object dont come up in "Visio Shapes" column for selection as shown in below image.

I am using ARIS 7.2.0.546073 version

Does anybody face the same issue, is it ARIS version specific? What will be the workround for it ?

Hi Vinay,

If I have to guess, the shape in Visio is the same shape as the "activity blocks" in Visio. So there is no programmatical distinction between the shapes.

That is the only reason I can think of.
