Open .adf file

it is the same issue with my ARIS Express installation, that your adf data file cannot be loaded. But it can be imported in ARIS Basic or ARIS connect. In both cases the version however does not look very complete, may be because the file is corrupt and the ARIS Basic/Connect importer is more tolerant regarding formatting errors. I attach the PDF version of what I imported.

A new export ist only possible in the standard format .bpm that cannot be imported by AE.

So you're telling me that I will no longer be able to open my file on aris express to continue my project?
In this case I think I'll do it all over again.
Are there any precautions I need to follow to ensure it doesn't happen again?

I am not a SAG developer, so I am not able to analyse the corrupted data file to find the reason why opening in AE is not possible. I indeed would propose to start the work again even it is annoying.

I had never such problems working with AE (German screens). The general recommendation is, to save the work more often looking if any error messages occur during the save procedure. Once a day you should made a backup to eventually restore an older version.
