Hi guys!
I have some general questions: I'm interested in buying ARIS but I'm not sure whether it fits my requirements:
I would like to know what functions (process layout, process structure, process hierarchy, process symbols, tabel representation of processes, modeling standards used (e.g. BPMN 2.0, EPKs, Petri-Nets, ...)) ARIS has? How much time do I need in order to teach my employees? Does ARIS offer trainings?
I would also like to know how the implementation works? Do I need a special server? How long does the implementation take? Is there an on-demand cloud version?
Many thanks!!!!

Dear Felix,
The ARIS Method manual gives you an overview of the ARIS concept and its vast variety of model types, though well sorted along the 5 views of the ARIS house:
Have a look at the quick start guide of ARIS Business Architect to get an idea how to work with ARIS:http://documentation.softwareag.com/aris/platform_72sr4e/method_manual_aris_s.pdf
http://documentation.softwareag.com/aris/platform_72sr4e/quick_start_guide_arc_s.pdf
And of course, Software AG offers training courses for ARIS

along with services and consulting:

But the hardest part for teaching your employees ist most likely not the ARIS method nor ARIS products, but thinking in processes. Therefore, let them start with these e-learning courses:
And finally, have a look on the capabilities of upcoming major release ARIS 9.0:
