Can't copy connection with attributes in Aris Express

Although I can select a connection and copy it, when I use paste it doesn't appear anywhere, but when copied with its connected objects it works.

Is there any way of copying connectors?

I have added some attributes to connectors (e.g. responsibility - using RASCI - for role-activity connectors) and would like to copy rather than repeatedly inputting the text.

As a workaround I have resorted to using "Fragments", which works well but means I am repeatedly creating, using (several times) then deleting them,

I trust you meant "copying of connections"...

I will continue with the "Fragment" approach, but it does interrupt the capture flow by working out the optimal fragment to create and re-use...

Hi,

no, copying of connections (corrected) is not possible neither Express nor ARIS Business Designer or Architect.

Actually, the real bug is that in that case, the "copy" functionality is offered. It is already known and entered in our bug database.

You could populate the first connection with its attributes, then make all the other new connectors, select all the connectors and open the Attributes Window (F8). You can now see the attributes of all the connectors in columns (side by side) and you can easily copy and paste the values across. This might be easier than fragments. You might also explore the Attribute Wizard

Aris Express doesn't display Attributes from multiple shapes - the Attributes window just goes blank!

Also can't find an Attributes Wizard feature in Aris Express... is it the same product?

I am using V2.1 - 7.1.0.480944 (SR 2010_06)
