why in EPC model of ARIS Business Architect can not use or ruler like aris express?

maybe this depends on the filter you are using... or maybe there is a misunderstanding in the usage of symbols? In ARIS, standard symbol set, it looks like this:

Generally: everything you can model in Express, you can also model in ARIS Business Architect/Designer.

Thank you for your help, but i try to use all of the system filter and template, it always like this    and the attribute type of the connection bewteen or and function only one option"leads to".

and there is  another thing also like this, xor rule cannot toward or rule?

I do not really know whether I'm sure what the problem is: you _do_ know, that the order is important, in which the connection is created?

In your example above:

1. start connection drawing, e.g. by selecting the upper-left connection symbol in the symbols tool on the right side in the designer --> the mouse cursor should change to the "create connection cursor"
2. click onto the "or" rule --> the connection mode is active, the preview should show your the connection route
3. click onto the function --> a connection beginning from the rule leading to the function should be created.

hello, i know the order is important, and i try it again as you told me. but the problem is when i click onto the or rule  and choose "function", the connection mode is only "leads to", don`t like other rule has choices.

This happens, when you use the filter "demo-database". Please use the "easy-filter" and everythink will work fine.

thank you for your help. and because i`m a freshman, i `m not sure that how to change the filter to "easy-filter", please teach me how to do it? 

When you log in into your Database the system ask you for a username and a passwort. After That you choose the filter.
