Could someone advise what the database do we use in the Aris normally? I mean the data of the process is saved by the normal way like oracle ,access,Sql...?

ARIS 9 comes with PostgreSQL as an embedded DMBS. And ARIS 9 supports as external DBMS: Oracle 11/12 and MS SQL 2008/2012.

How about the Database of this version .Do we have to use the database Oracle ....?
Or it's just an option to store the data in the external database like oracle?

I'm not clear if the data could be saved in the data file in Aris ,not in external database
For ARIS 7.2 you can use as database system:
This information you can find on the ARIS 7.2 DVD in the document Docs\ENU\ARIS72SupportedPlatforms_s.pdf.
The content of an ARIS database can be exported in XML files and re-imported again.
Also, as backup solution you can save an ARIS database as .ADB file. Such a file can be restored on an ARIS Business Server.
