I successfully used ARIS Express on my Laptop for the last month at customer site until some days before x-mas.
Today I had to experience that I can't get AE started any more, but need to do some urgent changes for the customer.

Hi,
there is one issue in the JRE which may lead the installation to crash, e.g. if you install a new JRE. We already communicated this to SUN and wait for a response.
But is quite easy to solve this problem:
- open the Java panel (within the system panel)
- on the first page (general/common), choose the settings button (in the lower part of the dialog)
- click "delete files" and confirm applets and applications as well
- download Express again via download.ariscommunity.com/express.jnlp
That should solve your problem.
