We are using roaming profiles under windows 7.
When we make the profiles mandatory, Aris 2.2 is not working under windows.
Is there any thing to do to get it work?

ARIS Express is installed in the user's profile directly. So it could be that you are not moving the complete profile. But I think we need way more details to get an idea what might go wrong here.
That is correct.
When using MS Windows and roaming-mandatory profiles, only the folowing data from the application data is uploaded to the server.
C:\users\username\appdata\
Roaming
Not uploaded are:
Local
Local Low -> the error from Aris Express 2.2, created by launching Aris Express is pointing in this profile
CouldNotLoadArgumentException[ Could not load file/URL specified: C:\Users\ep\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\45\72b5016d-6235914b]

at com.sun.javaws.Main.continueInSecureThread(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
This whole profile is 300-400 Mb big, and is not included in roaming profiles scenario in MS.
Every time that 60 students are loging on the profile is being downloaded from the server so jou can imagine what this would cause.
It would be verry verry helpful, when i would know exactly what is needed from the profile, to get it work with roaming mandatory profiles.
Or we start over from the beginnig?
Hi,
the folder "ARISExpress" in the user's profile is needed to make Express running.
The folder you specified is the download of Express itsself. I'd recommend to change the download location for the Java Environment. Via the system panel, you can reach the Java panel, where you can change the location of the "temporary internet files".
Bye,
Frank
The folder Ariss Express is included in roaming-mandatory profiles.
But After installing Aris Express 2.2 the shortcut on desktop and programs is pointing to this location:
C:\Windows\System32\javaws.exe -localfile -offline "C:\Users\test\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\45\72b5016d-6c7077b2"
That's the problem in my case.
Can this be manualy changed an pointet to another location?
Until the user is not using roaming-mandatory profiles it work OK.
But after the error in the previus error post appears.
> Can this be manualy changed an pointet to another location?
Jap, as I wrote, this can be changed with the Java Panel, first page, "temporary internet files". Unfortunatly, this is only valid for new downloads... so you have to delete the old path (which you should also do with the Java panel) and download again.
