Hey everybody,
I have a little problem.
I installed ARIS Business Server and also ARIS Business Architect for SAP 7.1 on the Server. The Server is a Windows Server 2003 R2 with an EM64T processor from Intel.I downloaded and installed sapjco-version ntamd64 2.1.9. and copied ths sapjco.jar file into
E:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\JavaClient\lib
E:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\LocalServer\lib
E:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\server\lib
I also copied the librfc32.dll and sapjcorfc.dll into C:\WINDOWS\system32.Then I entered the Environmental Variables.
I also installed ARIS Business Architect 7.1 on my Laptop and connected to the server. My Laptop runs a 32 bit OS so I installed a 32-bit Version of sapjco and entered the Environmental Variables.
I rebooted the Server as well as the Laptop after entering the Variables.
Now here's the thing...Synchronisation works with the ARIS Business Architect installed on the Laptop and the one on the Server in both directions. And from my Laptop I also can open Documents and Transactions from Solution Manager. But I can't open Documents or Transactions from the Business Architect installed on the Business Server but the Synchronisation works.
Do I have to enter any files into C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 as well?
Best Regards
Michael
Hi Michael,
how you descripes your SAP JCO configuration it should be work actually.
Which error message do you get if you try to open a SolMan document or
run a transaktion?
In the most cases which it is not possible to open docs/transactions then
the sapjco.jar is missing in the folder 'E:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\JavaClient\lib' -
maybe you check if the sapjco.jar really exists in the folder.
And please execute the sapjco.jar with the following command and publish the
screenshots:
"C:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\JavaClient\jre\bin\java -jar
C:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\JavaClient\lib\sapjco.jar"
If I execute this command I get this dialog with these SAP JCO informations.
If it still does not work then download the 32Bit version of the SAP JCO (sapjcontintel-2.1.8.zip) and copy the sapjcorfc.dll (3.636KB) and librfc32.dll (5.168KB) to C:\Windows\SysWow64.
Here is a link to another community article which descripes a similar problem and its solution:

I hope it works ;-)))
Best regards,
