use ARIS via browser

Hi Michael,

You need to install and configure the IIS in the computer where the Business Server is installed.

Read the chapters "ARIS Web Client Components" and "ARIS Web clients (browser mode)" in the Installation Guide for more reference.

Hi Claudio,

I installed the IIS and entered the .cfg MIME type.I installed JRE 6_23.

After executing the E:\Program Files\ARIS7.1\server\html\index_app.html following error occours:

Java Virtual Machine Launcher

Could not find the main class: File/ARIS7.1/server/html/. Program will exit.

Do I have to enter any Environment Variables,too?Or is this some other error?

Hello,

There's no need to enter an environment variable. Have you tried calling the index_app.html from the browser ?

Example: http://<IIS server name>/index_app.html

Also, get ahold of someone in your company that knows how to setup the IIS in order to check if it's correctly configured.

I have installed ARIS business server on a machine where I have IIS also installed. I need to send out the link to users for Accessing ARIS via web browser. Where can I find the url for accessing ARIS / launching aris via web browser so that I can pass on to users.

Is it somewhere in any of the config files?
