Great news, ARIS Community! We’ve just rolled out a new feature that you have been asking for. Member Search!
This update comes directly from your feedback. One of our community members asked for an easier way to find other users. We listened and today, you’ll find that request live for everyone to use.
Where to Find Member Search
The Member Search option is now available directly in the Search section. Just click it, and you’ll be able to look up community members by their first name and last name.
It’s a quick and easy way to find peers, collaborators, or simply return to a conversation you remember from months ago.
Privacy First: Who Appears in Results?
Not everyone will show up in the results. Only members who have “Appear in member search” enabled in their profile settings will be searchable.
This means you’re in full control of your visibility in the ARIS Community:
- Want to connect and be easily found? Enable the setting in your profile.
- Prefer to stay private? Leave it off, and your profile won’t appear in search results.
Why This Matters
Community is about connection. With this new feature, finding people is easier than ever, whether you’re looking for a familiar name, a helpful contributor, or someone who posted that one question you want to revisit. We’re sure that this tool will help strengthen collaboration, learning, and networking across the ARIS Community.
Give the Member Search a try today and if you have an idea for how we can make the ARIS Community even better, don’t hesitate to share it here.
