You can customize the modeling area. This allows you to use all information and modeling aids available in ARIS Express.
When you open a model in ARIS Express for the first time, the “Symbols” and “Fragments” panes are displayed. You can add the “Model overview” and “Attributes” panes. You can also arrange the panes according to your preferences. Simply move them to the position you like. If you prefer to place fragments from the left, switch the Fragments and Attributes panes. You can choose to have only the Fragments pane on the left. Or place the “Attributes” pane below the model window. This allows longer texts to be displayed. Hide panes to have more space for modeling available. If you display hidden panes again, they assume their previous position. You can move the panes to any required position.
But what if they get disarranged? You can use the “Reset pane positions” menu item. It allows you to display the panes in their original position after restarting ARIS Express.
You have learned how to set up the modeling area of ARIS Express.
