Is there any autonumbering mechanism which could be applied for the object's attribute - identificator.
For example for classes I would like to have auto id created for each new object.

I worked on Aris Business Designer and I hadn't seen this options :)
On this same topic, is there an automatic way to sequentially autonumber each object in a model (for example, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5)? We use the Short Description attribute for this and put the number in manually. It would be great if ARIS could do this type of numbering.

Yes, there is. And it's a flexible one. You should go to Administration->Select database->Properties->Identifier. You can have many. Then for each user you select which identifier to be used on this user creates new element. Identifiers apply to objects, connections, models, users etc.
