Dear Aris Community,
I am searching for a manual that can help understand modeling in Aris for Indicators or Key Risk Indicators (KPI). I know that ARIS usually manages it through the Process Context Diagrams, and so on, but I am searching on information of what other ways there are to diagram, how to connect the indicators to the Business Scorecard Mode, what are the benefits of managing KPIs in ARIS and etc...
best,
Anais

Ups, that is a huge bag full of questions. I can only answer some of them.
With ARIS Architect you have several choices to model processes
are - in my view - the most obvious.
BPMN 2.x is neither aware of a term like risk, KPI, ... nor is the notation extensible. As a result using BPMN 2.x you have - as you mentioned in your post - external methods to handle risks, KPIs and the like.
The EPC notation features "risk" out of the box. Using Model2Execute you can generate BPMN out of your EPC model.
UML is extensible. Using UML you can meta-model your risk, KPI, ... notation and use that notations for your modeling. But that is the hard way.
About the benefits
hope that helps,
