Colors of vector maps

Hello,

I have created a mash up that contains a vector map which highlights the countries which consume services of our company based on the filtered data (looks nice!).

In the next step I would like to preset the colour of countries where we have subsidiaries.

That means I need 3 colours:

1. Countries with no subsidiary (static)

2. Countries with subsidiaries (static)

3. Countries that consume services (dynamically based on filtered data).

Does anybody have an idea how this can be realized?

In the help I could only find this information:

Colors

Sets the colors of individual component elements.

Elements

Assigns a color scheme to particular component elements.

Note

You can customize the color of individual elements.

Hi André

Coloring the map is only possible with thresholds. So to do that you need an additional numeric column "subsidiarystate" in your feed.

Then you have to fill your column with the corresponding state (1, 2 or 3).

Now you can use this column in the dataassignment of the map, to colorize the map. For the three states you need three tresholds.

That's it!
