It would be great if objects on models has GUID. It can help in future for models import to ARIS professional tools. For example, you create object ‘Person’ in Org.chart in ARIS Express. Of course, when you copy object ‘Person’ to EPC model in ARIS Express there are no links created between models in ARIS Express, but when you import these EPC models to ARIS BA, for example, you can identify that these ‘Person’ objects have the same definition. To my mind, it would help us to create more ‘methodological’ approach in ARIS Express.

Hi,
well, since Express does not have a repository, we do not provide reusage anyway. As example, if you use a person twice in an Express model, e.g. by copying it, you've got 2 objects.
Sure you will be able to import ADF files into the business server, but you will need to consolidate the objects/models.
Bye,
Frank

Hi, I had understood that Express does not have a repository :) but reusage of objects, to my mind, could be realized (of course, if it not contrary to ARIS Express concepr) in Express in crippled version. Of course when models import into the business server, and if objects in ADF has GUID, while importing ARIS can check by GUID existence of object in ARIS base. So, if you have 10 EPC with Person with SAME GUID, it could be check and merge objects during import.
