The funny thing is, that the enemy is defeated whithout Chuck doing anything...
If the first event were 'Enemy sees Chuck' then the result could be 'Enemy is defeated'
Donald, at first I thought the same way. But my 2nd thought was about a "self-fulfilling event".
As you can imagine Chuck don't need to do anything but something happens anyway, which is in EPC notation nothing else than the absence of a function.
Of course some 'trigger' is needed. And that is that Chuck has to become aware of a enemy.
Your variant, that the 'Enemy sees Chuck' could be followed only by 'Enemy is instantly dead' for matching Chuck's modeling convention.
I think for Chuck's modeling convention we need another thread. I bet he is also able to let an event to decide which function is triggered.
And who knows, in case Chuck visits ProcessWorld, Sebastian will blog it. I don't wanna miss that chance, so I'll be in Berlin Mon til Wed. And I think I saw your name, too.

I was curious how Chuck could turn the modeling convention of the Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) upside down. So I asked him how he did that and he just sent a screenshot proving him right:
Do you agree on this? Or could this be a fake model?
