Will we be able to apply our own templates and filters?
There are some newly formatted symbols (or/xor/and) and I would like to revert to our accepted corporate formats.

This could be a showstopper for us.
It will be more difficult to explain why there are differences between what a modeler makes and what we upload/publish.

I concur with Frank. Having different symbols in Express from those used in ARIS & Publisher would make the product unusable. Why use symbols that are different from the standard ARIS symbols? Are the new symbols in Express going to be used in ARIS as well?

the new symbols are also a new feature, which will be added to the professional tools.

But the old symbols will still be available? These are new, but we need to consider the implementation requirements. Maintaining modeling discipline will be more difficult with Express, but can be done. The more variables we have to manage simply increases the governance effort required.

I have created a new filter and want to re-use the symbols that were previously assigned to the objects.
Can you re-use/import the symbols?

Hi Donald,
Sorry, in Express, we defined the new symbols. There is no possibility to create your own templates/filters in Express.
This functionality is part of ARIS Business Architect/Designer.
