Spot on GDPR at IUG 2019 in Riga

A little bit more than one year ago GDPR came into effect and was in everybody's mouth. Meanwhile we could gain some experience on how it works in reality. In fact, many companies are not completely ready yet. So it's interesting to learn how more mature companies approach the topic. At this year's IUG in Riga we had two presentations about the topic. The first one by ING bank which use a quite comprehensive ARIS solution including ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager with the accelerators for GDPR.

The second presentation by the State of Luxembourg was about turning modeling into business value with ARIS apps generation. Here GDPR is integrated into a larger framework covering several use cases.

With these presentations IUG 2019 has almost ended. The closing session will be a panel discussion about Enterprise Management Systems.
