As Professor of the university (ISEG), where I'm teaching disciplines of BPM / EA based on ARIS, a colleague of mine who wants to do his PhD, invited me to guide him in developing his thesis. So, I wonder where can I find successful cases of ARIS implementation and other academic material related to these subjects. Let me tell you that I've my own cases in Portugal, but there are just a few what is not enough to what is necessary to support a thesis like this one.

One of the most impressive ARIS implementation I've seen so far in the Public Sector in Europe is in the Government of Luxemburg. They have their own methodology "Prometa". ARIS implementation covers the full BPM cycle and additionally is used to support various tasks that one woudn't consider it as a tool for.
Speaking of "exotic" uses of ARIS (I do't really consider them as such but seeing the way ARIS is commonly used...), I shared a story about such a use in the book Enterprise Architecture for Connected E-Government: Practices and Innovations in this chapter.
