I have encountered an issue with specific model types not being visible in Business Publisher Export.  Any suggestions on what to do in order to make these visible?  Thanks!

2 things you can check that can cause this. 1 - are the models included in the Filter you are publishing with? 2 - Does the user who is publishing have access to the models?

Thanks Rick, but I'm afraid the answer is "yes" to both questions.  So I am still stumped.  The one model type that is not appearing is a derived model type, but is definitely in the filter.

Hi John,

IS this the first time you are publishing these models or have you published before and now they have dissappeared on updating the publisher export?

I had that Enterprise model ( structural model) but that is because the link for that in the customised publisher did not exist. It can also be the issue of access rights of the folder which contains these models.

Thanks,

Deepa

This is the first time we are publishing these specific model types.  I thought the problem might be specifically with derived model types, but this is not consistent.  Some of our derived model types are publishing correctly.  User access rights appear to be correct.

Hi Jibin,

could you try to make an export under Entire method-Filter. It could helps. If I understand correctly, this problem is only for "derived model types"? You could also check log file of export.

Hi Jibin,

I tried to do export with "Entire method" and "Customer Experience Management" filter and it works for me. See print screen. I added new models types into UMG database.

I am using ARIS BP 98.4. Make sure, that you have same version of ARIS Design Server and ARIS Publihser. I would also recommend to you do a new installation from scratch. There could be also problem with update.
