I've been trying to figure out how I can use PPM Favorite listing and navigation in MZ. Its a new feature, but I can't figure it our by myself and also have not been ablet to find any documentation about it. Can someone point me to where I can learn about it?

this adresses ARIS PPM in fact. The basic idea is to list ARIS PPM's favorite tree using a table, for instance, in MashZone. Based its selection state another MashZone widget might display the selected favorite's result, e.g. an image. That way you could setup an entry view for ARIS PPM reports.
The entire feature set requires ARIS PPM 5.0.1 at least. You may refer to a document called "ARIS Performance Dashboard User Guide" which ships with your ARIS PPM installation. Section 10.7.2 explains how to use Query API to expose the PPM favorite tree, i.e. its table of contents.
While former versions of the API enabled you to read the data structure of a favorite (in XML format) the current one exposes the rendered bitmap, additionally.
