ad 1: ARIS Express is data file driven (each model is one data file) without a database. So you can link e.g. an object in a VC to an EPC model as data file. You cannot link one object to another object.
ad 2: Yes
ad 3: No
ad 4: Yes (same mechanism as in ad 1)

Hi Klemens, thanks - so do I do that via an object attribute and the URL to the file? where would I get the file location from the Aris data file?

Hello Marit,
as I posted already ARIS Express is datafile driven (not database driven). So if you create a model (e.g. an EPC model) you save it as datafile like "Bestellung.adf" on a directory in your Windows Explorer you have chosen.
Then you have acces to this datafile in the linkage field of the attributes of your object:
See here the example to link an object "Order" of your value chain with an EPC model. You click on the pencil icon and then you get the dialog to choose the datafile.
