Co-Define and communicate Software AG’s technical strategy, market positioning and functionality in a world where data is at the center of businesses. Focus on data analytics in the context of Software AG products.
Data analytics is becoming even more important in the future in a world where everything is connected. In Software AG we want to focus on line-of-business users and enable them to analyze their data to gain value. This requires innovative thinking in the area of data normalization, user experience, AI/ML and analytics models. As the Software AG lead data analytics architect* you should position Software AG as a data analytics thought leader in IoT and iPaaS and communicate our approach externally and internally.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customers - communicate Software AG’s data analytics architecture approach by using white papers, conference presentations and blog entries. Engage with key customers and sales to ensure a customer's analytics requirements can be addressed by Software AG
- Market and partners - analyse new data analytics concepts, standards and products
- CTO, PM, R&D architects - collaborate to defone the long term roadmap
- Co-innovation – work with customers and R&D on key projects that cover data analytics
YOUR PROFILE
- Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
- Long-standing professional experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
IT-SKILLS
- Databases, SQL and NonSQL
- Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Map/Reduce, HDFS, etc.
- Streaming Analytics with CEP engines, APAMA, etc.
- Data formats, including Parquet
- Data analytics and machine learning: Supervised and Unsupervised machine learning, Time series analysis, Outlier / Anomaly detection, prediction, etc.
- R and/or Python programming and knowledge of related data science libraries and tools
- BI and reporting, including tools like Tableau or Qlick
- DWH, ETL and related technologies
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud and Azure related data analytics offering
