Hello:
In strategy diagram, some of the symbols are not visible for the modeling. However, when i mousehover the blank area in symbol tools, it shows the objects name but not the object symbol.
In some reference database, I checked where this symbol was used , is now marked as RED crossed symbol.
I am looking forward to know the reason for this problem and how can it be resolved.
Please suggest.

Thanks a lot for the supportive information.
We are using Entire Filter and logged in using System.
In addition, with Administrator, I checked in Filter too and found that these objects were available in Filter. However in Symbol box on left hand side, it shows blank space. When I took my cursor, it shows symbol name only. You can check attached image "Symbol".
Also, wherever this object was added earlier, now it appears as RED crossed object.. Please refer attached image.
Attached are two screen shots for your quick reference. Hope it will help to get exact problem and guide us to resolve this issue.
Just a quick thought, can this problem occur due to different ARIS version used (7.1 and 7.2).

if you are using the Entire Method filter you may safely ignore my speculations on evolving method restrictions. Not even a server administrator can change that filter. The only thing he could do is change symbol appearance globally for all databases on that server.
Different ARIS versions may definitely be an issue, although I do not know, what symptoms you may expect from different versions. The recommendation is definitely to always use the same version (and service release) for server and client. Enquire with your administrator the version of the installed Business Server and try to get the corresponding client version of architect/designer.

just guessing: Could it be, that your method owner first modified the symbol in the reference DB with the intention to indicate that these symbols should not be used any more?
And now he possibly excluded these symbols from your filter?
Each organization decides on its method using method filters. On log on you choose the method filter you want to use for this session. Possibly your admin only allows you to use a single filter, so you may have no option.
As the method evolves method elements may be added to the filter, or if the method owner decides against certain symbols or connections they may become invisible. They remain part of the models where they are used, but you may not see them any more.
Enquire with your method owner, if I'm guessing right and discuss how your content should be expressed in the future. Also discuss, how he can allow you to change your content according to the new standards.
