Difference between ARIS Business Designer and ARIS Business Architect

Well, apart from obvious spelling differences the notable differences are:

1. In ARIS Business Designer: You can only create/edit/view models/matrices and evaluate pre-existing reports/macros.

2. ARIS Business Architect can do all the things Aris Business Designer can do + user administration + access permission + custom report/macro/filters + customization of templates etc.

Bottom Line:

For modelers use Designer

For Administration use ARIS Business Architect...

But I think, you cannot restrict user to use the specific one.

The difference between the regular Architect/Designer to the "for SAP" products is that all SAP-related functionality (syncing, starting transactions, using SAP shortcuts and keywords, etc.) are added to the regular products. You can do everything you would do in the regular tools in the "for SAP" products as well.

Hi,

I am also finding out the main differences between Business Architect & Business Designer. Understand from the answers above that Business Architect includes the user admin module. How about exporting models to business publisher? Can Business Designer do exporting like Businsess Architect?

Also, are the main differences documented somewhere? I went through the user guides but it was not clearly mentioned.
