Import from Visio for ARIS Cloud Advanced

The Visio import is not a feature of ARIS Cloud Advanced. It's available with ARIS Cloud Enterprise.

Thanks for the response. The following URL lists BPMN import & export as a feature of ARIS Cloud Advanced: ariscloud.com/Advanced.htm. How is this different from Visio import please? Also, what are the available alternatives or workarounds available to get our existing Visio maps into our Aris Cloud Advanced?

Hi

The BPMN interface imports/exports *.bpmn files. The visio import is possible via VDX . Another possibility is a self created report.

Thanks again; does that mean once I save my Visio process maps as Visio XML drawings, I will be able to import them into ARIS Cloud Advanced? Could you elaborate a little on the "self created report" please?

Hi

In ARIS a Java Script interface is available. Via this interface a report could be created and import the visio files.

But you need java script programming knowledge to create such a report

That's the idea I  have
