hello friends,
im a beginner of using ARIS governance risk and compliance tool. i need to export the models that i have created in business architect to ARIS GRC. If i export the xml file from business architect and try to import the same in ARIS GRC, it says
" The selected file is not an ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager import file."
please answer my query/

And I dont know what is the right export functionality. I just right clicked the model and selected export as xml file.
Can you tell me how exactly we need to bring the models from ARIS to ARIS GRC. It would be very helpful. Thanks again

Dear Ram,
You find a detailed description in your installation guide in chapter 6. The installation guide is provided with the installation package and you find it in your ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager folder in the sub folder Documents.
Anyway, when you start a report, you must be able to select the category ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager and the ARCM export report. The ARCM export report has to be installed in advance. See chapter 6.3 in the installation guide.
If you still have problems, please send your request to ARIS Support.

Dear Sreeram,
Are you sure that you used the right export functionaliy in ARIS Business Architect for ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager? Or did you use the standard export functionality in ARIS Business Architect? You need the first one to receive the right import file. Please check this.
If this doesn't help you and you got a valid support contract, please send your exported xml file and version information of both products to ARIS Support. They can help you!
