Today’s ProcessForum in Brussels, Software AG’s annual local Business Process Excellence event, had a great keynote. Software AG’s Chief Service Officer, Ivo Totev, gave a very inspiring presentation. One of his topics, is the crucial role of Processes; the Agility Layer of today’s companies. It’s the successor for the alignment between the Business Model (all about the markets, products and differentiating innovations) and IT (realizing automated business processes).
The Agility layer was further explained by the Model-to-Execute concept. After the presentation of Ivo, Jonathan Heywood of Product Management Software AG visualized this with some more examples, followed by the Roadmap of ARIS & webMethods. All the renewals are of course very encouraging for the 100 BPE adepts present at the event in Brussels.
Between the Software AG presentations, Mr Broeckx had an interesting view and approach how to achieve lean processes. Mr Broeckx is Director KPMG Advisory.
