Hi there, I´m working with a EPC with swim lines, ¿it´s possible to work with the same objects (template) used in aris express? or isn´t

Sure, that's possible. You need to do the following things:
- Import ARIS Express filter and template. Both files are available on the ARIS installation DVD.
- Create your EPC with swimlanes.
- If you want to use an ARIS Express symbol, make sure to select the belonging icon. For example, in case of an EPC Function, you have to select the icon "Activity". Of course you can get around this problem by logging in with the ARIS Express Filter, because in that case only the ARIS Express icons are available and are selected automatically.
- Apply the "Express" template so that all icons and relationships get formatted properly.
Below is a screenshot of an EPC in row display using the ARIS Express template and formatting.

Okey, perfect thanks, that help for Aris Express, Now If I use Aris Architect 7.1 and I`m working with an epc with swimlines.
If I start from the base, that I imported to Aris 7.1 all the epc from Aris Express,so I have all the objects like Database, Document...
1.- If in aris 7.1, How can I add those symbols to the epc with swimlines, is that possible? I mean can i represent and database coneccted to an activity?
2.- What symbol can I use to make reference, when from some activity someone send a email? Can I add new symbols? and make easier the job to take the epc from aris express to aris 7.1 using an epc with swimlines?

Hi Oscar,
the model I added to my comment above is done in ARIS Business Architect 7.1 and not ARIS Express! So just follow the instructions above to get the ARIS Express symbols in ARIS Business Architect. You just need to import the filter and template and make sure to use the correct icons during modelling.
