Dealing with our clients and prospects worldwide I face companies of completely different maturity in terms of understanding what Enterprise Architecture is. Just look at this list of definitions I collected one year ago and the definitions of EA recently proposed at the Architecture Forum of The Open Group, authors of TOGAF. And do not forget to take in account different perception of EA in the North America and Europe!

Beginning of March, I had to become acquainted with ARIS MashZone quite fast, because the IDS Scheer product management planned an integration between ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager (ARCM) and MashZone for the upcoming ARCM service release (SR-4).

I just went through my pictures I took during the past 3 days and I want to share some more impressions with you. ProcessWorld has been again a big event. I think there were more than 600 participants.

Now after lunch, the final 3 sessions of ProcessWorld 2010 in Berlin take place. First, Dr. Jung of Deutsche Post DHL presents his experiences of multi-regional modelling projects. DHL is a big German logistics company. It doesn't just provide mail items, but also global forwarding of freight and supply chain management.

We are now back to vendor talk, but I think it will be entertaining as Dr. Hess and Mr. Klückmann, who you probably know from ARIS Community, are on stage. Also, the ARIS MashZone video is shown before the presentation.

The keynote by Mr. Streibich was followed immediately by the keynote of Mr. Schulze of Kneipp. Kneipp is a provider of health and pharmaceutical products. The company originated in 1891 and is based on the philosophy of Sebastian Kneipp.

Does anyone know where this headache is coming from? Uhh, the conference event :-) But ok, back to business... Today is day 3 of ProcessWorld 2010 in Berlin, which is going to conclude the conference. The day starts with the keynote speech of Mr. Streibich, CEO of Software AG.

We are now at the end of this day. The official program is closed today with the keynote by Prof. Scheer, who recently received an award from the University of St. Gallen for his life achievement. Prof.

One thing I like about ProcessWorld is the fact that you get to know companies you never heard of before. CWS-Boco is a good example. At least I didn't know them before. They describe themselves as "one-stop textile service". For example, their carpets can be found in hotels.
