The ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart is a predefined content accelerator built on top of the ONE Standard – Foundation.
While the Foundation provides the methodological, technical, and governance framework for consistent process modeling in ARIS, the PCF® QuickStart adds a fully prefilled content database that already follows these standards from the outset. It is designed for organizations that want to start not only with a ready-to-use methodology, but also with immediately available process architecture content aligned to the ONE Standard conventions.
The included content is based on the Process Classification Framework (PCF®), a globally recognized standard developed and maintained by APQC. This ensures a proven and widely adopted structure for organizing business processes across industries.
As such, the PCF® QuickStart serves as a structured content alternative to the Foundation’s project template database and significantly accelerates the path from technical setup to actual repository usage. This creates a faster and more practical starting point for customers who want to begin directly with standardized predefined content instead of building up large parts of the repository themselves.

The ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart is designed for an immediate and structured start with predefined content. It follows a cross-industry approach and works out of the box without additional setup.
For scenarios requiring more flexibility, an alternative accelerator is available:
ONE Standard – PCF® Industry Loader
This option enables the import of different PCF® versions and industry-specific content. It provides a more flexible setup but requires additional configuration and preparation.
How to Choose
- PCF® QuickStart → Best for fast onboarding, minimal effort, and immediate usage. Works out of the box without additional setup.
- PCF® Industry Loader → Best for industry-specific setup. Requires additional steps to import and prepare the content.
Prerequisites
The ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart (as well ONE Standard – PCF® Industry Loader) require the ONE Standard – Foundation to be installed and used as a baseline.
The Foundation provides the underlying methodology, modeling conventions, repository structure, and governance framework that this content package is built upon. All included content is fully aligned with these standards and is designed to be used within this predefined environment.
Without the ONE Standard – Foundation, the content cannot be used as intended.
