The ONE Standard – PCF® Industry Loader is a generic content accelerator built on top of the ONE Standard – Foundation.
While the Foundation provides the methodological, technical, and governance framework for consistent process modeling in ARIS, the PCF® Industry Loader enables the creation of a fully prefilled content database based on a selected PCF® version. It is designed for organizations that want to combine a ready-to-use methodology with the flexibility to generate their own process architecture content aligned with ONE Standard conventions.
The included approach is based on the Process Classification Framework (PCF®), a globally recognized standard developed and maintained by APQC. This ensures a proven and widely adopted structure for organizing business processes across industries.
Compared to the ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart, additional steps are required, as users need to select and provide the desired industry-specific PCF® content themselves.
The final result generated by the PCF® Industry Loader is a fully structured ARIS database that follows ONE Standard principles. It serves as a flexible alternative to the Foundation’s project template database and significantly accelerates the transition from technical setup to productive repository usage.

Looking for a Ready-to-Use Alternative?
The ONE Standard – PCF® Industry Loader is designed for maximum flexibility by enabling the import of selected PCF® versions and industry-specific content. It allows organizations to build their own process architecture based on their specific needs, but requires additional preparation and input.
For scenarios requiring an immediate and fully preconfigured setup, an alternative accelerator is available:
ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart
This option provides a complete, ready-to-use process architecture based on a cross-industry PCF® version. It works out of the box without additional setup and enables a fast and structured start.
How to Choose
- PCF® Industry Loader → Best for flexible, industry-specific setups. Requires selection, preparation, and import of PCF® content.
- PCF® QuickStart → Best for fast onboarding, minimal effort, and immediate usage. Works out of the box without additional setup.
Prerequisites
The ONE Standard – PCF® Industry Loader (as well ONE Standard – PCF® QuickStart) require the ONE Standard – Foundation to be installed and used as a baseline.
The Foundation provides the underlying methodology, modeling conventions, repository structure, and governance framework that this content package is built upon. All included content is fully aligned with these standards and is designed to be used within this predefined environment.
Without the ONE Standard – Foundation, the content cannot be used as intended.
