***VNSG-theme day 'Real World BPM'*** On the VNSG (Dutch SAP user Group) Theme day ‘ Real World BPM’ in the Netherlands, top speakers will present their vision and experiences with BPM in a SAP environment. The day will be started by Frank Luyckx who will introduce the different BPM presentations using the SAP BPM framework of the VNSG BPM user group.

Day 1 - Opening session Nearly every seat of the biggest theater of the famous Palais du Festival in Cannes was taken when Gartner started the conference with the opening session. In my opinion there are a lot of things Gartner is known for, but the most impressive one is how they actually organize events. Very professional, very structured and perfect in presentations. Especially the opening session reminds me of concerts where an impressive intro runs before finally the band appears.

SOX is in a way the mother of all internal control regulations. Although not the first internal control regulation by a long way, it is the one that has had the greatest impact in terms of its magnitude and its (global) area of application. Enacted in 2002 by the US Congress, it eventually led to the coining of the term Governance, Risk & Compliance, or GRC.

The introduction of a new software process in an organization is a difficult and often risky proposition. This is especially true when adopting agile processes like Scrum that usually imply radical departures from traditional team structures, cooperation styles and relationships.
