Prologue The previous installment, devoted to BPMN 2.0 positioning and status, was a mere warm-up i. Now comes some hard stuff, that is, how one can really use BPMN 2.0 - herein referred to simply as BPMN - for business-oriented modeling in practice.

Question 1 So with this type of model structure -- all steps in one EPC -- how do you reuse parts, globalize, etc? Whether this is an IT type model or a business process model reuse and globalization need to be considered. Let's say that our Brazil region for whatever government regulation needs to add three steps. How do you represent this? Also, say we operate in 20 countries and all 20 have their own couple of steps that "have to be" included. How is this handled? Question 2

There was some requests for creating an index so that the readers understand what are all the steps of a ARIS Competency Center Development - how many articles will I publish? (depends on how long I get paid - oh lord - here he goes again) This set of solution should be pretty scalable and actually can be used for many tools like solution manager etc.

One of the question I need to answer before I go forward - why am I giving it away? In the internet age it takes about 30 seconds for anybody to copy all my material and then another 2 minutes to load it in the internet. Well I am trying to save them some valuable time and money. Its not about the material - the money is on the implementation concept - you will still need me. (I had downloaded 51 Spanish books and still stuck with como estas). Talking about competency center - how difficult is it to create competency center?

I am in-charge of developing the ARIS competency Center for the consulting group in NA. In the next few months I will be publishing quite a few articles on ARIS Competency Center and giving away a lot of the material because I hope sharing will increase the knowledge level on all sides. I am setting the ground in this presentation and will add meat in my later articles. What is a competency center?

Some days ago, I mentioned on Google Plus that I just completed my Scrum Master certificate.
